We are committed to growing together as we apply God’s Word in our lives. If you’re new to this community, we welcome you. If you’re a regular parishioner, we trust you’ll find information here about growing in your relationship with God, building friendships and getting more involved. We strive to be a welcoming, faith-filled Eucharistic community that is diverse in its composition, strengths and needs.

With this joint letter to both Corpus Christi and Our Lady of Mount Carmel parishioners, the leadership of both parishes wishes to announce the hiring of Mark Owdeesh as a Pastoral Minister. He will be working part time for both parishes mainly in the area of First Reconciliation/First Communion and Confirmation preparation. He will have an office at each church. This means he will co-ordinate with the ministerial teams of both parishes, and the families, in choosing a program of catechesis, introducing it to the families and teams and seeing it to its end… the celebration of these Sacraments.
All of this while working under Covid 19 protocols. Pray for him and welcome him.
Welcome and God bless you Mark in this new undertaking.
Father Mike Parent, Pastor of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish
And
Father John Pirt, Administrator of Corpus Christi Parish
Look upon your flock, kind Shepherd.
Though bowed down by our human frailty
n the dark valley of this pandemic,
we fear no evil, for you are with us,
you hear us, and you comfort us.
Grace with the wisdom of your Spirit
political and religious leaders
helping us.
Guide with strength health care workers
iding the sick and dying.
Give consolation to families and friends
suffering with loved ones.
Grant courage to all – from first responders
to those who put food on our tables
– providing essential services and the necessities of life.
In this time of darkness and uncertainty, O God,
may we be beacons of your goodness and mercy
to all in need.
Through Christ, our Lord. Amen.
